About the Team
The Roll Operations and Silent Cell section is responsible for managing the operations of the Australian electoral roll through the development, implementation and evaluation of enrolment policy and procedures, as well as the centralised processing of silent elector enrolments.
The team oversees day-to-day enrolment matters, including maintaining procedural guidance, reference materials and capability development initiatives for state and divisional network staff. It delivers key projects associated with federal, state and local government elections, including close of rolls activities and electoral boundary redistributions. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes that support the integrity, effectiveness and continuous improvement of Australia's electoral system.

As a Senior Project Officer, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality outcomes by contributing to the management of the electoral roll through the development, implementation and evaluation of enrolment policy.
As part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will contribute to the enrolment program through the delivery of key projects, the provision of clear and practical policy advice, support for staff responsible for enrolment processing, and the development and maintenance of enrolment guidance and doctrine. You will build strong working relationships across the organisation and with key stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
