Redland City Council is seeking experienced, proactive and highly organised Executive Assistants to fill two exciting opportunities supporting members of our Executive Leadership Team. These roles provide the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, manage competing priorities, coordinate key business activities, and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive offices across Council.

Executive Assistant to the Executive Group Manager Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer (200441) | Permanent Full Time
Executive Assistant to the General Manager Organisational Services (200509) | Maximum Term Contract Full-Time until 7 January 2028

Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing confidential executive and administrative support to senior leaders, including diary management, correspondence, meeting coordination, agendas and minutes.
- Managing communications and acting as a key liaison point between executives and internal and external stakeholders.
- Researching, analysing and preparing information to support decision-making and business priorities.
- Monitoring and coordinating operational, people, safety and financial information and reporting.
- Following up actions and coordinating business activities to support the achievement of organisational objectives.
- Managing and improving administrative processes, systems and records to support the effective operation of executive offices.
- Assisting with financial administration, reporting and budget monitoring activities as required.
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive administrative or secretarial support to senior leaders.
- Strong communication and research skills, including demonstrated competence in drafting professional correspondence, reports and business documentation.
- Sound judgement and proven ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering excellent customer service and driving continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
- Experience working in fast-paced or complex environments, with local government experience highly regarded but not essential.
