There is a rare opportunity to join our amazing team at the Bonnyrigg Sports Club.
Reporting directly to the CEO you must have previous Duty Manager experience in a similar size venue or Senior Supervisor in a Club or Pub seeking to take the next step up in your career, displaying a strong work ethic, a passion for people, hospitality and exceptional communication skills.
The Role:
The Duty Manager will engage and operationally lead our team whilst ensuring guests are attended to with efficient, responsible and friendly service whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment.
More specifically your day to day duties will include:
- Ensuring and leading the efficient and effective running of the venue (overseeing Beverage, Gaming, Member Services, Stock control and Cellar operations)
- A hands-on approach being able to work Bar or Reception shifts when required.
- Leadership role that will see you motivating, coaching, mentoring and developing a strong and dynamic team with a focus on delivering exceptional service standards and memorable guest experiences.
- Responsible for setting the benchmark for service across the venue including Beverage, Gaming and Function activity (whilst still overseeing Member Services)
- Being a hypersensitive of our culture and ensuring a harmonious work environment.
- Adhering to all corporate and legislative compliance pertaining to Club operations
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years managerial experience in a Club/Pub environment
- Experience controlling floor operations and achieving agreed customer service KPI’s
- Experience in overseeing a range of functions such as Gaming, Keno, TAB, Bars, Cellar operations / maintenance / stock control, Membership, Functions / Events and Reception
- Train and supervise team to reach the highest potential
- Ability to lead and work cohesively across multiple teams
- Have a passion for delivering a flawless level of guest experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Sound understanding of relevant legislation
- Current certification for NSW RSA, RCG, ARCG, Provide First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation (or willing to obtain)
- Computer literacy essential
- Flexibility and ability to work when the venue is busy including weekends and nights
