Your Opportunity
As the Compliance Facilitator you will:
Actively support quality compliance across the region including contractors and co-providers through management of quality systems and audits
Contribute to an enhanced system of vocational and further education and training supporting best practice recommendations to improve the Region's systems and processes based on applicable quality standards and industry practice.
Undertake assigned tasks and complete activities in an organised and efficient manner, achieving high levels of customer service with internal and/or external customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
This position reports to the Manager, Quality and LMS Operations.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time position.
This position is based at the TAFE Queensland East Coast Hervey Bay campus however an alternative TAFE Queensland East Coast campus location may be considered.
You may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively participate in developing and maintaining an integrated quality compliance and improvement system within the Region.
Drive the regional audit program by developing audit strategies, and co-ordinating and supporting audit activity for external, internal and departmental audits.
Manage the Region's audit rectification process to support formal processes for corrective and preventative action and continual improvement.
Manage the collation, analysis, dissemination and reporting of stakeholder feedback to drive continual improvement.
Support development of policies and procedures relating to a diverse range of business activities in consultation with appropriate internal and external staff ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, develop resources, conduct training, provide support and advice to educational staff in preparing for academic audits and provide general advice to educate staff on compliance.
Provide advice to staff, clients, co-providers, contractors and other external stakeholders on the interpretation and application of standards, legislation, policies and contracts relevant to the Region's business and quality systems.
Monitor audit results and develop compliance reports identifying and analysing trends and making recommendations to facilitate quality, efficiency and continual improvement.
Undertake research and development on matters relating to business functions.
Contribute to improvement in business processes and practices.
Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Showing Initiative, Focussing on our Customer and Taking Responsibility.
How you will be assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
Demonstrated ability to engage with and support clients through the management system and procedural audit process, including identification of root causes, audits reporting, and facilitating corrective and preventative actions.
High level understanding of the current Registered Training Organisation (RTO) quality standards and legislation relating to training organisations.
High level understanding of the processes required for an organisation to become an RTO and maintain RTO status.
Highly effective written and oral communication skills demonstrated by an ability to prepare complex reports, submissions, discussion papers and correspondence.
Displays the initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Qualification in Quality Auditing
