Job Title: Reception
Location: Flight Club Darts Sydney
Job Summary: We are looking for a welcoming and organized Reception Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a Reception Host, you will greet and check in guests upon arrival, guide them to their designated area, and provide an introduction to the game to ensure they have an enjoyable experience from start to finish. We will cross train our bartenders to fulfill other roles in the business during quite periods. This role is perfect for an outgoing, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a lively environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive, checking them in efficiently and confirming bookings.
- Guide guests to their designated area, ensuring they are comfortable and have everything they need.
- Provide a engaging introduction to the game following the guideline, explaining rules and offering helpful tips.
- Assist guests with any questions or requests during their visit, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
- Coordinate with the reservations and events team to manage seating arrangements and optimize space.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and always welcoming.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about venue offerings, game features, and upcoming events to enhance the guest experience.
- Complete daily and weekly checklist to ensure the venue is ready and set up for the day and to maintain high level of cleanliness and standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role is preferred but not essential; we are open to training the right candidate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for guest service.
- Ability to work calmly in a busy, high-energy environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and guest requests.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it prior to starting.
