About the Role
We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our experienced multidisciplinary Allied Health team. Based at our purpose-built Healthy Living Centre in Woolloongabba, you’ll work with clients both onsite and in their homes across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
This role is open to both Full Time and Part Time applications.
In this varied role, you’ll:
- Complete functional, postural and seating assessments
- Trial and prescribe assistive technology, including manual and power wheelchairs, pressure care equipment, hoists and daily living aids
- Complete NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments and assistive technology reports
- Support clients to access appropriate equipment and funding
- Conduct home visits and work collaboratively with clients and their broader support networks
- Work alongside OTs, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Clinical Nurses and Allied Health Assistants to achieve client goals
About You
You’ll be a motivated and client-focused Occupational Therapist who enjoys working collaboratively and finding practical solutions that make a meaningful difference.
You’ll have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence managing and coordinating your own caseload
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred outcomes
- A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children clearance, or the ability to obtain one
Experience with spinal cord injury, physical disability, assistive technology or the NDIS is highly regarded, but not essential.
