Front of House Team Member, Bakery Cafe
About us
Wynnum West Bakery Cafe is a busy local bakery known for quality baked goods, great coffee and a warm neighbourhood feel. We are looking for a Front of House team member to join our small, friendly team.
The role
Wednesday 11am to 3pm is a fixed shift, with a second shift each week depending on business need. Total hours across the 2 shifts will be roughly 5 to 8 hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving customers and providing a warm, welcoming experience
- Making quality coffee (barista experience is a bonus, training provided if needed)
- Decorating cakes and sweets with care and attention to detail
- Helping keep the front of house running smoothly during busy periods
- Working closely with the team to get things done

- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Great communication skills with customers and team members
- Reliable and punctual
- A genuine people person who enjoys customer service
- Comfortable getting hands on with decorating and presentation

Pay: $25.00 – $37.00 per hour
