As a Casual Personal Care Assistant at Levande's Unity Community in Aberfoyle Park, you'll provide personal care, meal support and domestic assistance that enables residents to continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes within our retirement living community. What You Will Be Working On
Working closely with the Personal Care Supervisor and village team, you'll:
- Provide respectful, person-centred personal care to residents.
- Assist with meal preparation, food service and domestic support.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly.
- Support resident care plans where required.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
- Help create a safe, welcoming and connected retirement living community.
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
You'll enjoy supporting older people and take pride in delivering care that helps residents maintain their independence. You'll also bring:
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- Previous experience in aged care, health or a customer-focused care environment.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A caring, professional and reliable approach.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care and continuously improving the resident experience.
