We're seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract covering parental leave. Working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable activities while providing exceptional service to colleagues and external suppliers.

About the role
As a valued member of our Accounts Payable team, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of the firm's day-to-day financial processes through:
- Processing invoices and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assisting with corporate credit card expense administration, including allocations, reconciliations and user access management.
- Preparing daily payment schedules for vendor payments and staff reimbursements.
- Supporting vendor onboarding, maintenance and compliance activities.
- Assisting with high-volume data uploads and financial system administration.
- Managing finance-related onboarding and offboarding tasks and other general administrative responsibilities.
- Responding to queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Supporting daily cash flow activities by gathering and maintaining accurate payment information.
About you
To succeed in this role, you'll be a highly organised and customer-focused professional who enjoys working with detail and managing multiple priorities.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts administration or a similar finance support role.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, payment administration and vendor management practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial information.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Experience within a professional services environment and exposure to systems such as Aderant Expert, Emburse or FlexiPurchase will be highly regarded.
