We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand / Cook to join our team at Hurricane’s Grill Pyrmont.
About the Role
You will be working as part of a busy kitchen team, assisting with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and general kitchen duties while helping to maintain our high standards of food quality and presentation.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, café, pub or commercial kitchen
- Basic cooking and food preparation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Ability to assist with washing dishes, cleaning kitchen areas and general kitchen duties when required
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
Experience working with grills, fryers and food preparation will be highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
Applicants must have a valid TFN and current working rights in Australia.
