Terry White Chemmart Nedlands is looking for a motivated 2027 Intern Pharmacist who is genuinely committed to becoming a confident, capable pharmacist.
Our pharmacy offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across both community and aged care pharmacy. Working across both areas provides a well-rounded training experience, allowing you to develop a broad range of clinical, professional and practical skills.
Community Pharmacy
You will be trained across all aspects of community pharmacy, including
- Dispensing of medications
- Professional counselling, OTC recommendations
- Provide clinical services such as Vaccinations, dose administration aids, medication management
- Maintain day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Aged Care Pharmacy
You will gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing area of pharmacy, including:
- Medication management and clinical decision-making
- Medication reviews, chart reviews and medication safety
- Working alongside GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Complex medications and polypharmacy
- Medication charts and medication packing
- Opportunities to explore broader pharmacist scope and career pathways
With Australia's ageing population, aged care pharmacy is an area with enormous potential for pharmacists to expand their clinical skills and scope of practice. We want our interns and students to develop a genuine sense of belonging, purpose and achievement — knowing that what they do can directly improve the care of our patients and residents.
No aged care experience required, training will be provided.
About you
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
- Enrolled in an approved Pharmacy Internship Program (eg. Guild/PSA)
- Proactive, self-motivated and organized
- Caring, Reliable, attention to detail
- Genuine interest to learn, able to work collaboratively in a team
