Elizabeth Vale Integrated Hub, is committed to creating a child, family and educator friendly environment. To address community needs, our playgroup sessions have been established to support families, provide early intervention and assist families to support children’s enrolment in early learning.
The Playgroup Facilitator will work with the Integration Lead, Centre Leadership Team and allied health team and other internal and external stakeholders to:
- Plan and implement weekly playgroup sessions and community events.
- Develop parents/caregivers’ skills and confidence
- Provide a diverse range of learning experiences designed to meet the developmental stages of children and extend their learning opportunities.
- Ensure the playgroup provides an environment that is inclusive and culturally safe for all children and families.
- Support families in implementing and participating in developmentally appropriate play experiences with their children
- Assist families to access parenting information, other family support services and agencies within the local community.
- Support the Service Coordinator to maintain strong relationships and networks with all stakeholders, work towards strategic goals that benefit our community
