Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Assistant Retail Manager located in our store in Tweed heads, NSW. The Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, supporting the store manager, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment. Duties also include managing the sales floor, leading and motivating the team, monitoring inventory levels, and addressing customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction. The Assistant Retail Manager will contribute to meeting sales targets and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone energetic, hands-on, and passionate about food retail who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You bring:
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a genuine focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Natural leadership abilities, with experience motivating, guiding, and developing a team
- Strong sales mindset, confident in meeting and exceeding targets
- A sharp eye for visual merchandising, creating abundant, inspiring, and commercially strong product displays
- Solid organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Experience in retail operations, stock control, and inventory management
- Previous experience in retail or a related field (preferred)
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods as required
