Your new role:
As an Administration Officer - Urodynamics, you will provide timely, accurate and high-standard administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager, clinical staff, patients and visitors within the Urodynamics Outpatient Department. You will:
Coordinate a range of patient appointment activities, including scheduling, arrivals, cancellations, rescheduling and waiting-list management, while coordinating with other services and arranging transportation and follow-up appointments where required.
Deliver professional and compassionate customer service to patients, visitors and staff across telephone, email and face-to-face interactions, responding to enquiries and directing queries appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient demographic, Medicare and referral information using relevant information systems, while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace by supporting colleagues, managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and participating in service improvement, patient safety and quality initiatives.

You have high-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically with patients, staff and stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.

You bring strong administrative and computer skills, with the ability to maintain highly accurate information and work confidently with client information systems and databases.
You are a capable problem solver who can work largely unsupervised, make sound decisions, seek clarification when needed and identify practical solutions in a changing environment.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
