In this role, you will:
Support the effective management of contracts, contractor relationships, and commercial operations. In this role, you will provide administrative, operational, and reporting support to ensure contractual obligations are met, contractor performance is monitored, and contract activities are delivered efficiently, and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include (not limited to):
Supporting the day-to-day administration of contracts, ensuring contract records, documentation, correspondence, notices, claims, and variations are accurately maintained and managed
Coordinating engagement with contractors and suppliers, facilitating regular communication, governance forums, and stakeholder meetings, whilst tracking actions to completion
Monitoring contractor performance and contractual compliance, assisting with the investigation, escalation, and resolution of contract-related issues, and identifying opportunities for process improvement
Conducting payment reviews and validation activities, including contract payment calculations, purchase order administration, invoice processing, and payment reconciliation
Preparing reports, briefing materials, and management information to support decision-making, contract performance monitoring, and commercial oversight
Providing administrative and secretariat support to the broader contract and commercial team, including meeting coordination, document management, records maintenance, and management of collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams channel(s)
Ensuring all contract, procurement, and records management activities are undertaken in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, governance requirements, and statutory obligations

About You:
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
Proven experience (2-3+ years) in a similar position, with strong knowledge of contract management processes, documentation control, and reporting
Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong compliance and governance focus, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements
Strong Microsoft skills, with advanced capabilities in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint to support reporting, data analysis, document management, and administrative processes
This is a fixed-term role until 30 September 2027. This role is based in a hybrid environment, with 50% of your time spent in the office. To support team collaboration though, you will typically be based in the CBD office every Monday, and the Macquarie Park office every Thursday. This is a Grade 6 role, paying between $111,625.00 - $122,786.00 + super. The grade level will be assessed based on your relevant skills, experiences, capabilities, and qualifications etc.
