About the Opportunity
As an Eating Disorders Early Intervention Clinician, you will provide specialist assessment, education, consultation, and care coordination for children and young people with eating disorders across community, hospital, and mental health settings. You will work closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care, support recovery, and build the capability of local services to identify and respond to people with eating disorders early.
This role plays a key part in strengthening specialist eating disorder services and improving outcomes for young people across the Central Coast. In this role you will:

Provide specialist assessment, intervention, consultation, and care coordination for children and adolescents experiencing eating disorders.

Deliver education, support, and evidence-based treatment guidance to young people, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Collaborate with inpatient units, mental health services, community providers, and tertiary hospitals to ensure seamless care and continuity of treatment.

Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and specialist advice to build eating disorder knowledge and capability across services.

Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives, and the development of clinical practices that support best-practice care.
