Little Fishos Fish & Chips is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking team members to join our crew!
We are a busy fish and chip shop with a strong summer trade, and we’re looking for people who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing great food and friendly customer service.
Supervisor:
We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor who can confidently lead the team during busy service periods and help keep the shop running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous hospitality, takeaway or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience working with deep fryers and commercial kitchen equipment
- Coffee-making experience and confidence using a coffee machine
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to lead, support and motivate a team
- A hands-on attitude; happy to jump in wherever needed
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Flexibility to work additional hours during our busy summer season
All-Rounders:
We’re also looking for energetic All-Rounders to join our team. Experience is preferred, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
Your role may include:
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly service
- Preparing fish, chips and other menu items
- Working the fryers and maintaining consistent food quality
- Preparing and making coffee
- Packing takeaway orders
- Serving customers and handling the POS/cash register
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop and kitchen
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Helping the team during busy service periods
