About Us
MBK Airconditioning is a fast-growing residential air conditioning business servicing Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast, and Ipswich. We're expanding into new build installations and looking for a motivated installer to grow with us. We're QBCC and ARC licensed, and we back our team with genuine training and career progression.
The Role
We're after AC Installer's to join our new build division, working on air conditioning installations in newly constructed homes. You'll work alongside builders and site teams to deliver clean, high-quality installs from first fix through to commissioning.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing split system air conditioning units in new build residential properties
- First fix and rough-in work (pipework, drainage, electrical cabling) at frame stage
- Final fit-off, commissioning, and handover once the build is near completion
- Coordinating with site supervisors and other trades to keep jobs on schedule
- Ensuring all work meets Australian Standards and QBCC/ARC compliance
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional worksite
What We're Looking For
- ARC refrigerant handling licence (or willingness to obtain one — we can support this)
- Experience installing split system air conditioners (new build or residential experience highly regarded)
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and pride in a clean finish
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on active building sites
