Venue Manager – Hoopla South Morang
At Hoopla South Morang, the Venue Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the guest experience, team performance, venue operations, safety, and commercial results. As Australia's largest indoor family entertainment venue, Hoopla combines playground attractions, bowling, events, hospitality, and family dining, creating a dynamic environment that requires strong leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team across customer service, entertainment, hospitality, parties, and venue operations.
- Drive exceptional guest experiences for families, children, and event guests.
- Manage daily venue operations including staffing, rostering, labor costs, stock control, and service standards.
- Oversee food and beverage operations in partnership with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and venue policies.
- Deliver strong commercial performance through revenue growth, cost control, and KPI achievement.
- Support and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate parties, functions, school groups, and special events to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness at all times.
- Build a positive, high-performance culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction.
What Makes a Strong Candidate:
- Availability to work on Weekends, Public Holidays, Morning shifts, Night shifts. (40Hrs a week)
- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, entertainment, leisure, family attractions, or venue management.
- Strong operational and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and labor costs.
- Ability to lead large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience creating memorable customer experiences and managing high-volume operations.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining service excellence.
