ABOUT THE ROLE
Press Metal Aluminium Australia is looking for a reliable, friendly and customer-focused Internal Sales / Front Desk Admin team member to join our Wetherill Park operation.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable speaking with customers, enjoys working in a team environment and can support the day-to-day activities of our sales, administration and warehouse teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming customer phone calls and assist with enquiries
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Assist with internal sales and customer requirements
- Carry out general front desk and administrative duties
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Use computers and internal systems for daily tasks
- Learn and use Acumatica software
- Assist with customer orders and general sales administration
- Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate customer requirements and orders
- Maintain accurate customer and order information
- Assist with general office duties as required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Good English communication skills
- Comfortable and confident speaking with customers over the phone
- Friendly and professional manner
- Basic computer skills
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and tasks
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Previous internal sales, administration or customer service experience
- Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Previous experience in the aluminium, building materials, manufacturing or construction industry
- Knowledge of aluminium windows and doors
- Previous experience using Acumatica or another ERP system
Experience with Acumatica and aluminium products is an advantage, but not essential. Training can be provided to the right candidate.

You will also be comfortable working closely with our warehouse team to help provide customers with an efficient and positive experience.
