We are working with an established Sydney commercial hydraulics contractor based in the south of the city. They are after a Project Manager with a genuine commercial plumbing background, ideally someone who came up through the trade, to own significant hydraulic packages from procurement and construction through to commissioning and handover.
What is on offer
- $140,000 to $170,000 plus super
- Vehicle or allowance, and performance incentives, negotiated on experience
- Packages circa $1m to $5m and above, with real commercial ownership
- Permanent, full time
- A steady book of major retail, commercial, government and industrial work
What you will be doing
- Managing multiple commercial hydraulic projects and the site teams on them
- Procurement, subcontractor management, programming and labour management
- Builder and client liaison
- Variations, progress claims and the commercial side of the job
- Commissioning and handover
What you will need
- Strong commercial plumbing or hydraulic construction background
- Experience running packages circa $1m to $5m or larger
- Solid grasp of hydraulic services and construction methodology
- NSW plumbing licence, White Card, driver's licence
They will also look at an exceptional Senior Foreman or Site Manager ready to step up into project management.
