About the role and where you will be working:
We’re looking for caring and dependable Care Workers to join our team at Jeremiah Donovan House in Forrestfield. This is a part time role working 30 hours per fortnight with shifts across mornings, afternoons, and occasional nights during the week.
Located in the City of Kalamunda Jeremiah Donovan House caters for 65 residents and offers a full range of services including nursing care, medication management, personal care, hospitality services and dementia support services. Residents also receive support from allied health professionals.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing

Reading and following individual care plans

Working under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility)

Building strong, respectful relationships with residents and their families

Showing compassion and patience in every interaction
About you:
-
You enjoy spending time with elderly people and are comfortable working independently
-
You’re organised, proactive, and able to multitask effectively
-
You have great communication skills (spoken and written) and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
To be considered, you’ll need:

Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support
-
Experience in Aged Care
- Initiative and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
