We're a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Mitchell, Canberra, delivering end-to-end IT solutions to a diverse client base. From cloud environments to networks and everything in between, we keep our clients' technology humming so they can focus on their business. We're now looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Officer to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where no two days look the same. You'll be the friendly face (and voice) of our service desk , providing Level 1 and Level 2 support, managing client Microsoft 365 environments, and keeping networks, applications, and ICT peripherals running reliably across multiple client sites.
You'll report to our managers and work closely with both the Operations and Finance teams, so you'll get broad exposure across the business , not just the tech side.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering responsive Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to our clients, both remotely and in person.
- Administering and maintaining client Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, licensing, and security.
- Supporting client networks, applications, printers, and other ICT peripherals.
- Communicating directly with clients .
- Escalating complex issues appropriately and providing regular updates and reporting to management.
- Collaborating with the IT Operations and Finance teams on internal projects and client deliverables.
- Travelling to client sites around Canberra as required (so a driver's licence will come in handy).
What You'll Bring
Essential
- 1–2 years' hands-on experience in an IT support or service desk role.
- A degree (Bachelor's or Graduate qualification) in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, networking fundamentals, and common business applications.
- Excellent spoken and written skills, with the professionalism and confidence to engage directly with clients.
- A genuine customer-service mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.
Highly Desirable
- Power BI skills and a sound understanding of database systems, with prior hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and ticketing systems.
- Experience with Windows Server management and Microsoft Intune.
