SJ TECH SUPPORT PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and dedicated Telecommunications Network Planner to join our team.
We are looking for a full-time Telecommunications Network Planner to join our team. This is a great career opportunity for someone with strong telecommunications infrastructure planning, technical coordination and network support skills.
You will.
- Plan the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.
- Assess existing telecommunications network infrastructure, capacity, coverage and performance requirements to support network development and expansion.
- Prepare network planning documentation, layouts, technical specifications, reports and records for telecommunications projects.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, service providers, engineers, technicians and other external resources regarding network requirements and project delivery.
- Monitor contractual obligations, project requirements and performance delivery relating to telecommunications network works.
- Provide operational support in the design and optimisation of telecommunications networks and associated infrastructure.
- Identify network performance issues, defects and faults and coordinate appropriate technical actions to support reliable network operation.
- Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure, equipment locations, project status, technical standards, procedures and quality requirements.
- Support the planning of network enhancements, upgrades and expansions in accordance with business, technical, safety and regulatory requirements.
You should have.
· Relevant experience in telecommunications network planning, telecommunications infrastructure, network design/support or a closely related technical role.
· Sound knowledge of customer access telecommunications networks, network infrastructure, performance requirements and technical standards.
· Ability to interpret network plans, technical drawings, specifications, maps and telecommunications documentation.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, vendors, suppliers and service providers and manage competing project priorities.
Qualifications:
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Telecommunications or a related field; or at least one year of relevant experience.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
