Pastry Chef / Cake Decorator (Permanent Part-Time)
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Pastry Chef / Cake Decorator to join our busy, growing bakery team.

This is a permanent part-time position, with permanent shifts on Friday (8am - 4pm) and Saturday (7.30am - 1.30pm). Additional hours are also available during peak periods and to cover staff leave.
About the Role
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Decorating cupcakes to a consistently high standard
- Creating celebration cakes using a range of buttercream decorating techniques
- Preparing buttercream, icings, fillings, and cake batters
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and food-safe decorating workspace
- Assisting with front-of-house duties, including serving customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure products are completed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous professional experience decorating cakes and cupcakes
- Is confident working with buttercream and finishing cakes to a high standard
- Has a creative eye and excellent attention to detail
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery without compromising quality
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Communicates well and contributes positively to a team
- Is comfortable working independently and managing their responsibilities
- Enjoys interacting with customers and providing outstanding service
