We're excited to welcome a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Medical Imaging Team.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within the Medical Imaging Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, base-level imaging services as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. In alignment with the goals and standards of Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health, you will contribute to effective healthcare delivery and support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Your commitment to excellence will help ensure every patient receives safe, timely, and compassionate care.
Key responsibilities:
Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Nuclear Medicine/PET services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
Apply professional clinical judgement when providing Nuclear Medicine services and seek guidance when principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
Ensure that all standards of radiation hygiene are adhered to at all times, and that relevant legislation and standards relating to Radiation Health are maintained.
Participate in quality and service improvement activities in Nuclear Medicine to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
Remuneration value up to $132,567 p.a., comprising salary between $80,015 - $116,189 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3).
