## About the Church
Joyful Church, a ministry of Disciples Church Incorporated, is located in Waterloo, Sydney. We are seeking a dedicated Religious Assistant to support our church leadership and serve our church community with faith, compassion and commitment.
## Key Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Pastor and church leadership in worship services, preaching and teaching
* Assist with pastoral care and spiritual support for church members
* Conduct ministry and communicate effectively in Korean
* Support both Korean- and English-speaking ministries
* Assist with Bible studies, prayer meetings and church programs
* Participate in community outreach and ministry development
* Assist with ministry administration and church events
* Work collaboratively with church leaders, volunteers and ministry teams
## Qualifications
The successful applicant must:
* Have previous church ministry experience
* Hold a Diploma or higher qualification from an accredited theological college or seminary
* Have at least three years of ministry experience in an immigrant church setting
* **Be fluent in Korean and able to conduct worship, preaching, teaching and pastoral ministry in Korean**
* Be able to communicate and minister effectively in English
* Have full Australian working rights or be eligible to meet applicable Australian visa and sponsorship requirements
* Demonstrate Christian character, spiritual maturity and a commitment to serving the church community
