Amcal Pharmacy Potts Point is looking for a confident and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our pharmacy.
Located in the heart of Potts Point, we serve a diverse and engaged local community and pride ourselves on providing approachable, high-quality healthcare.
Shifts available
This is a full-time position with five days a week, including Saturdays, with a consistent roster.
What you'll be doing
You'll take the lead on the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading dispensary workflow and supporting the pharmacy team
- Delivering vaccinations and other pharmacist-led professional services
- Maintaining professional, legislative and quality standards
- Building strong relationships with our regular patients and local healthcare professionals
- Overseeing front-of-shop operations, including presentation, merchandising, stock management and customer service standards
- Working with management to improve workflow, professional services, retail performance and the overall customer experience
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is approachable, dependable and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
- Current AHPRA general registration as a pharmacist
- Strong clinical, dispensing and communication skills
- Confidence working autonomously and making professional decisions
- Good organisational and leadership skills
- A genuine interest in community pharmacy and patient care
- Vaccination accreditation essential
Previous Pharmacist in Charge or management experience is welcomed, but not essential. If you're a strong pharmacist looking to take the next step into leadership, we'd still love to hear from you.
