Introduction:
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Officer (Full-time) to join our team at Carey Harrisdale.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, proactive person to support the efficient and effective maintenance, presentation of our campus buildings, grounds, and other onsite businesses.
Key Responsibilities
General building maintenance, upkeep, and repairs.
Supervision and daily logistical planning of Work Orders (tickets), ensuring these are fulfilled in a timely and prioritised fashion.
Engage with contractors on site, and/or across communication channels such as telephone/email/text, streamlining on-site jobs that have been requested and planned, while ensuring contractual expectations are delivered to a satisfactory standard.
Communicate closely with Property and Facility Manager on relevant tasks, jobs, planning, logistics and reporting of safety issues/hazards.
Ensure Carey Buses, vehicles, EV’s are operational - Service bookings, repairs, rego's, general cleanliness, and basic running / safety checks.
Weekly through to occasional event setup assistance. School assemblies and/or sports carnivals.
Skills, Experience and Compliance
- Minimum (5) year’s previous experience in property/facility maintenance
- Proficiency with using digital applications. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace etc
- Knowledge of Work Orders Systems, Reticulation Systems, Security Systems (desirable).
- High attention to detail, clear organisation skills, and professional communication handling.
- WHS white card.
- Working with children check (WWCC).
- Driver’s licence + MR/HR license.
- Drive and ambition to exceed client expectations in a quality environment.
- Paving/pavement maintenance desirable.
- Chemical Application knowledge and certification.
- Holds an ‘Working at Heights’ ticket or willing to obtain.
- Must have Full Working Rights within Australia.
