Experienced Painter – Full-Time or Part-Time

Premier Painting & Maintenance ACT is a growing Canberra painting and maintenance business, and we’re looking for an experienced painter to join our small team.
We work across a variety of projects, with a strong focus on residential repaints, real estate and property maintenance, along with commercial painting and general repair work.
This isn’t a large crew where you’re just another number. We’re building the business and are looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work and would like the opportunity to grow with us.
About the role
Your work will include:
- Interior and exterior painting
- Residential repaints
- Real estate and property maintenance work
- Commercial painting
- Surface preparation, sanding, filling and patching
- Brush, roller and general finishing work
- Working independently on smaller jobs
- Working alongside our team on larger projects
- Maintaining a clean and professional work area
Our jobs are often in occupied homes, rental properties and properties being prepared for sale or lease, so being trustworthy, respectful and professional around clients and their property is important.
What we’re looking for
You’ll need:
- Previous professional painting experience
- Current driver’s licence
- Reliable transport
- Good preparation and finishing skills
- Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good communication skills
- A positive, easy-going attitude
Formal painting qualifications are an advantage, but practical experience, reliability and quality of workmanship are most important to us.
Full-time or part-time
We’re flexible for the right person.
The position can be full-time or part-time, and we’d also be very interested in hearing from an experienced or semi-retired painter looking for a few days of regular work each week.
