TITAN Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of waste handling equipment based in Archerfield, QLD.
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders on a casual basis to join our afternoon shift (6-8 hour shifts Monday to Thursday). Primary duties include the welding of steel bins. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong fabrication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out MIG welding to manufacture and assemble waste equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and conformance to Australian Standards.
- Operate hand tools, cutting equipment, grinders, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, measuring, and aligning components prior to welding.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet manufacturing schedules and quality targets.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and perform basic equipment maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and handle materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety standards.
- Forklift and overhead crane licences (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of AS/NZS welding standards (desirable).
Working Conditions:

- Requires manual handling, standing for long periods, and use of PPE at all times.
