The Role
Middy’s is looking for an experienced Counter Sales professional to join our branch team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and support the day-to-day operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with product enquiries and requirements.
- Process cash and credit sales accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
- Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to branch sales and gross profit targets.
- Support in-branch promotions, displays and identify opportunities for add-on sales.
- Manage customer quotes, credits and enquiries at the point of sale.
- Maintain high presentation standards across the counter, displays and branch.
- Build positive customer relationships and help resolve customer concerns in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
- Maintain accurate information across branch systems and support continuous improvement.
- Follow company policies, procedures and QHSE requirements.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
- Previous Point of Sale experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A valid driver's licence.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible working arrangement
- A willingness to follow instructions while showing initiative.
A valid forklift licence will be highly regarded.
