About the Role
As a Conveyancer at Sargeants Dandenong, you will manage residential and commercial conveyancing matters from commencement through to settlement while providing exceptional client service throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing conveyancing transactions from contract to settlement
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documents, and settlement documentation
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, financial institutions, and government agencies
- Conducting property and title searches
- Managing electronic conveyancing transactions through PEXA
- Monitoring critical dates and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
- Maintaining accurate client records and file management systems
- Providing clients with clear and professional advice throughout the conveyancing process
About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised professional who thrives in a client-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Conveyancer
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property transactions
- Experience using PEXA and electronic conveyancing platforms
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- The ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
