Northern Private Hospital is seeking a Theatre Technician to work as part of their Theatre Team.
This is a permanent full-time, part-time and casual opportunities and your duties in this role will include:

Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures

Performing cleaning and sterilising duties
-
Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff
-
Maintaining surgical equipment and implements
-
Transporting and supporting theatre patients.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:

3 years minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (Essential)

Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent (Essential)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Comfortable working in a diverse team

The flexibility to work a rotating roster

Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures
