TTrade / Installation Assistant

MXF Services is a growing Western Australian company specialising in sheet metal fabrication, industrial ventilation, and dust and fume extraction systems.
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Trade / Installation Assistant to assist with workshop tasks and the onsite installation of ductwork, exhaust ventilation, and extraction systems. Industry experience is not essential, but some workshop experience and confidence using tools are required.
The Role
- Assist with the installation of ductwork and exhaust ventilation systems
- Support sheet metal fabrication and general workshop tasks
- Work onsite, including at heights when required
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Read and follow basic workshop drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What You’ll Need
- Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred; however, applicants on other valid visas may be considered if they have previous sheet metal workshop experience.
- Current C-Class driver’s licence
- White Card, or willingness to obtain one
- Strong practical skills and confidence using tools
- Reliability, initiative and a willingness to learn
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Highly Regarded
- Ductwork, sheet metal or exhaust system installation experience
- Current EWP ticket
- Working at Heights certification
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Welding or fabrication experience
