Bakers Delight Berowra is seeking an experienced, motivated, hardworking and dynamic Senior Sales Assistant to help lead our delightful team on a full-time or part-time basis.

The successful candidate will help enhance customer satisfaction, drive sales and profitability, and lead and develop our sales team. Candidates with a strong background in retail sales, customer service or team leadership will have the greatest opportunity for success.
Job responsibilities
- Implement retail strategies to increase store traffic, customer numbers and sales.
- Work towards sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Complete bakery administrative duties and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain outstanding bakery presentation, compliance and visual merchandising standards.
- Identify customer trends and needs and provide feedback to help the bakery respond to changing demand.
- Propose innovative ideas to increase sales and customer numbers.
- Provide constructive feedback to sales team members on performance and training needs.
- Assist with preparing and managing sales rosters.
- Manage issues that arise with staff or customers, including complaints and grievances.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Complete additional duties as required.
You will have
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a high level of energy.
- Strong leadership skills or the desire and ability to develop into a leadership position.
- Strong customer service, upselling and sales skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- The ability to motivate others and lead by example.
