The Role
We are seeking a capable and understanding Support Worker and Community Engagement Officer to assist a participant living with a neurological condition in Hamilton. This is an ongoing role with flexible scheduling to suit both the participant and support worker.

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct personal and community-based support in line with participant goals
- Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, organising, and meal preparation
- Supporting the participant to build routines, confidence, and life skills
- Encouraging and facilitating community participation and social engagement
- Promoting inclusion, independence, and overall well-being
- Liaising with the Beyond Health Services team to ensure quality service delivery
About You
You are a compassionate, respectful, and organised individual with:
- Experience supporting people with neurological or similar disabilities (preferred)
- Confidence engaging in community activities and social inclusion programs
- A strong understanding of professional boundaries and person-centred support
- Excellent communication and reliability
NDIS Compliance
You will need the following (or be willing to obtain):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- ABN (for contractors)
- Police Check
- Working with Children Check
