About the Role
As a Home Lender, you will provide personalised home lending advice and solutions to customers, guiding them through the home loan journey from initial enquiry through to settlement. Working within a branch environment, you'll build strong customer relationships, identify lending opportunities, and contribute to business growth while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer care.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality lending conversations to understand customers' financial goals and home lending needs.
- Manage home loan applications end-to-end, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support retention, repeat business, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain an active lending pipeline while contributing to portfolio growth and sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to introduce customers to appropriate banking products and services.
- Participate in local community initiatives and events to strengthen customer engagement and brand presence.
- Work collaboratively with branch colleagues and support teams to deliver excellent outcomes for customers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in home lending, financial services, banking, or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn mortgage and banking products, responsible lending requirements, and lending regulations.
- A passion for helping people and exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve lending growth outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to team success.
