Do you enjoy making people feel welcome? Are you friendly, organised and calm under pressure? We’re looking for a warm and professional Club Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Club.
In this role, you’ll help create a positive experience for every member and guest—from their first greeting to their departure. You’ll enjoy working with people, managing a variety of tasks and being part of a supportive team. This is an evening role starting from 5pm to 11pm.
About You
You are naturally approachable, well presented and enjoy providing great service. You take pride in being reliable, organised and attentive to the small details that make a difference.
Hospitality, accommodation or guest-services experience is highly regarded, but your positive attitude and genuine enjoyment of helping people are most important.
You will be:
- Warm, friendly and confident when communicating with guests
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Professional and well presented
- Comfortable managing several priorities at once
- Calm, helpful and approachable during busy periods
- Naturally attentive to detail
- Flexible and happy to assist wherever needed
- Comfortable using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
About the Role
Reporting to the Duty Managers, you will play an important part in the smooth day-to-day operation of the Club. As the first point of contact for many guests, you’ll ensure everyone receives a friendly, personalised and efficient experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming arriving and departing guests with a warm, friendly manner
- Taking time to assist guests on arrival and helping them feel at home
- Responding to guest communications accurately and promptly
- Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries, reservations and requests
- Processing deposits, data entry, receipts and EFTPOS transactions
- Using the Membership system and maintaining accurate guest records
- Identifying maintenance concerns and, with management approval, arranging trades when needed
- Maintaining a tidy, professional and welcoming reception area
- Supporting the broader team with the daily operation of the Club
- Stepping in to assist with other duties as required
What We’re Looking For
A keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for people and hospitality are essential. You’ll be comfortable working independently, using computer systems and balancing multiple tasks while always maintaining a friendly, professional approach.
If you enjoy creating great guest experiences and would like to join a welcoming Club environment, we’d love to hear from you.
