We are looking for a motivated Exercise Physiologist (new graduates are welcome) to join our team at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic. This part-time role can progress to full-time, offering diverse experience with a varied caseload and opportunities to grow your skills.
As one of the longest-standing clinics in Kogarah, we work closely with GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Sports Specialists.
Our gym, located in The White Church opposite St George Public Hospital, features a cable machine, free weights, Smith machine, functional training equipment, as well as VALD force plates and digital movement analysis, perfect for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic condition management, and athlete performance testing.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise programs for clients
- Delivering evidence-based exercise interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of clients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centred care
- Educating clients on the benefits of exercise and its role in managing their condition
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating client progress to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintaining accurate client records and reporting
What we’re looking for
- ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Genuine interest in helping clients with a range of musculoskeletal and rehabilitation needs
- Friendly communicator who enjoys working with people of all ages
- A willingness to learn, ask questions and grow clinically
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
- Openness to working with various referral types, including Worker’s Compensation, motor accidents, athletics and GP management plans
