Team Leader – Casual & Full-Time
We're looking for passionate Casual and Full-Time Team Leaders to join our brand new Yo-Chi venue on Bunda Street, and this one is pretty special. This will be the first ever Yo-Chi in Canberra!
At Yo-Chi, we're all about creating more positive energy in the world. From epic frozen yogurt creations to genuine guest experiences, every shift is an opportunity to make people smile.
As a Team Leader, you'll lead the team through busy shifts, set the standard on the floor and help create the fun, welcoming environment that Yo-Chi is known for. If you love leading from the front, enjoy bringing out the best in people and want to be part of launching something brand new in Canberra, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the team through busy shifts with confidence, positivity and great energy.
- Creating memorable guest experiences through genuine, friendly service.
- Coaching and supporting team members while leading by example.
- Opening and closing the venue, including cash handling and daily administrative tasks.
- Keeping the venue clean, safe and running smoothly.
- Managing stock, receiving deliveries and keeping everything organised behind the scenes.
- Maintaining our food safety, hygiene and operational standards every day.
What we're looking for:
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality, retail or customer service.
- Someone who naturally motivates others and brings positive energy to a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence making decisions and solving problems during a shift.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays (fulltime).
- A genuine passion for people, teamwork and creating great experiences.
- Someone excited to be part of launching Yo-Chi's first ever Canberra venue!
