Job Description
Glad Group is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Regional Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of cleaning and security operations across the region.
This is an operational leadership role with responsibility for customer relationships, service delivery, team leadership, compliance and continuous improvement. You will provide hands-on leadership across multiple sites, ensuring our contractual commitments are delivered safely, effectively and to a consistently high standard.
About the Role:
Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will lead the delivery of services across a portfolio of sites and customers in South Australia.
You will act as the key relationship holder for customers, oversee operational and financial performance, lead Managers and their teams and provide support and direction when complex operational matters arise.
Your focus will be on building capable and engaged teams, maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring safe and compliant operations and identifying opportunities to improve and grow the portfolio.
You will:
Lead the day-to-day operations of all sites within the portfolio
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Ensure customer agreements and contractual service obligations are delivered effectively
Develop and maintain customer retention strategies
Take responsibility for portfolio and operational performance metrics
Lead, coach and develop Managers and their teams
Ensure employees are trained, engaged and focused on customer outcomes
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the portfolio
Promote a culture of accountability, operational excellence and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with WHS, legislative and customer requirements and being accountable for investigating hazards, incidents, near misses, faults and complaints
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
Demonstrated experience managing multiple and complex facility services operations
Strong commercial capability, including responsibility for financial and operational performance
Experience leading, coaching and developing Managers and frontline teams
The ability to lead effectively within a culturally and linguistically diverse workforce
Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
The confidence and professional judgement to represent Glad Group at a leadership level
Strong influencing skills, including the ability to guide teams outside your direct reporting line
The ability to translate governance, risk and compliance requirements into practical operational actions
Sound knowledge of industry standards and the operational environment
Knowledge of relevant statutory, employment and workplace requirements, including WHS, Awards, equal employment opportunity and diversity obligations
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to issues and root cause analysis
Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive related professional experience
