Café / Restaurant Manager

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 + Super

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Café / Restaurant Manager to lead our team, increase revenue, attract new customers, and manage the daily operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily café and restaurant operations.
- Increase revenue, sales and profitability.
- Generate new leads and attract new customers.
- Develop functions, catering and local business opportunities.
- Create promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Recruit, train, motivate and manage staff.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters and shift coverage.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain high service standards.
- Manage labour costs, stock, ordering and suppliers.
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer concerns.
- Ensure smooth breakfast, lunch, dinner and function service.
- Manage cash, EFTPOS and end-of-day procedures.
- Maintain food safety, RSA, cleanliness and workplace standards.
Skills & Requirements
- 1–2+ years’ experience in a café, restaurant supervisor, or management role.
- Strong leadership and staff training experience.
- Excellent rostering and team management skills.
- Sales-focused with the ability to grow the business.
- Barista experience with excellent coffee and latte art skills.
- Valid RSA certificate.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings.
- Reliable, organised and passionate about hospitality.
