We are seeking an experienced and motivated Roof Plumber to join our growing
team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, maintaining and
repairing metal roofing systems, flashings, gutters, downpipes and wall cladding across a variety of
construction projects. The role requires a strong commitment to quality workmanship, workplace
safety, and collaboration with project teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a
high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabricate, install and repair metal roofing systems, wall cladding, flashings, gutters and
downpipes.
2. Interpret plans, drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements and
material quantities.
3. Measure, cut, shape and assemble sheet metal components using appropriate hand and
power tools.
4. Install roof drainage systems, including gutters, downpipes and rainwater goods.
5. Carry out maintenance, inspections and repairs to existing roofing systems and associated
components.
6. Ensure all roofing work complies with Australian Standards, building codes and workplace
health and safety requirements.
7. Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and other construction personnel to
ensure projects are completed on schedule.
8. Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe, clean and organised condition.
Skills & Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualification in Roof Plumbing (Certificate III or IV) or a closely related field,
plus at least two years of relevant experience as a Roof Plumber; or
At least three years of relevant experience as a Roof Plumber in the absence of a relevant
qualification.
Demonstrated experience installing metal roofing, flashings, gutters and downpipes.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
