- Provide high-quality administrative support to the business unit, including preparing correspondence, managing documentation and maintaining accurate records across Council systems.
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, customers and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and providing information related to land-based and strategic planning matters.
- Assist with financial and budget administration, including monitoring cost recovery activities, processing invoices and payments, and supporting project financial tracking.
- Coordinate and organise workshops, meetings, events and appointments, ensuring smooth communication and engagement with internal and external participants.
- Support contract administration, procurement activities and records management processes while contributing to the efficient delivery of projects and business unit operations.

- A motivated administrative professional with relevant qualifications, tertiary studies or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and utilise a range of contemporary business systems and applications.
- Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support and assistance to professional officers across a variety of functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A highly organised team player with proven ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy and contribute positively within a collaborative work environment.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
