Our 20-chair Day Oncology Unit at Cabrini Brighton provides patients with a comprehensive range of cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care. Key responsibilities
Provide holistic, patient-centred care throughout the oncology treatment journey.
Educate patients, administer chemotherapy, and conduct ongoing assessments.
Coordinate follow-up care and referrals to support individual patient needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and a positive patient experience.
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
Delivering care to patients to meet Cabrini’s organisational goals.
Demonstrating attention to the needs of the patient and family to maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
Work respectfully within the team to deliver excellent patient care within the framework of the Cabrini Mission and Values.
What we're looking for:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience in chemotherapy administration, cannulation and CVAD required
Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology (completed or in progress) not essential however will be highly regarded
Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
