As a TAFE Teacher in our Senior College, you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The Role
As a TAFE Teacher, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
We have an exciting Casual Teacher role/s available until 11 December 2026 (unless otherwise determined) to join our Senior College at TAFE Queensland's Alexandra Hills Campus.
We are seeking educators to join our Casual Teacher talent pool across various subject areas.
This position reports to the Head of Senior College, Senior College and Community Pathways.
Salary
The salary range for a Casual Teacher is $115.32 per hour plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary.

Mandatory Requirements
Must hold FULL registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of QCAA and QCT requirements.

current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;

Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
Experience working with young people aged 15 to 18 years in a senior studies (Year 11 and 12) school environment.
Experience working with QCAA curriculum Year 11 & 12 (General, Essential and Applied Subjects)
