This is a part time position, around 20 hours per week, split across 3-5 days. The salary will be applied as pro-rata.
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and administration of marketing activities across the Belgravia Activities Gymnastics Division, including BK's Gymnastics, GymbaROO-KindyROO and associated programs.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for delivering engaging content, social media management, email marketing, website content, blogs, and day-to-day marketing administration. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with internal stakeholders, centre managers, franchisees, and external suppliers to ensure marketing campaigns are executed consistently and effectively across the network.
This is an ideal role for a marketing professional with at least 2-4 years' experience who enjoys both creative content creation and hands-on campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Coordinate and execute national social media content calendars across multiple brands.
- Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Schedule and publish content across channels.
- Monitor community engagement and respond or escalate enquiries as required.
- Track social media performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
- Identify trends, opportunities and best-practice content formats.
Content Creation
- Write, edit and publish high-quality content aligned with brand guidelines.
- Develop social media captions, articles, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate photo and video assets for campaigns.
- Create basic graphic design assets using Canva and other marketing tools.
- Support the development of franchisee and centre marketing resources.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Build and schedule eDMs and automated customer communication journeys.
- Assist with audience segmentation and database management.
- Monitor email performance including open rates, clicks and conversions.
- Support lead-nurture campaigns and retention communications.
Website & Blog Management
- Coordinate website content updates across multiple brands.
- Write and publish SEO-focused blog articles.
- Maintain website content accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with creating landing pages and campaign content.
- Support optimisation of website performance and organic traffic growth.
Franchisee & Centre Marketing Support
- Assist franchisees and centre managers with local area marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate distribution of campaign toolkits and promotional resources.
- Provide guidance on marketing best practice and brand compliance.
- Support marketing training and communication initiatives.
- Respond to marketing-related support requests from centres.
Marketing Administration
- Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.
- Coordinate campaign assets, approvals and stakeholder feedback.
- Assist with supplier and partnership coordination.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports and campaign summaries.
- Maintain marketing databases, asset libraries and documentation.
- Support event promotion and campaign execution as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- At least 2-4 years' experience in a marketing, digital marketing or communications role.
- Strong content writing and copywriting skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms for a business or organisation.
- Experience creating and scheduling eDMs.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Experience using Canva and content creation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience working with franchise networks or multi-site businesses.
- Experience supporting nationally recognised brands.
- Experience within children's activities, education, fitness, sport, franchising or retail sectors.
- Experience with CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Basic graphic design, photography or videography skills.
- Understanding of SEO and website content management.

- Hold (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement) a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Successfully complete a National Police Check prior to commencement of employment.
- Be legally entitled to work in Australia.
