Join our modern Gruyere Gold Mine on an 8:6/7:7 FIFO Roster.
Seeking a 2IC/Leading Hand with a gold processing background.
As a Senior Process Operator at our Gruyere mine site, you’ll be providing vital support to the Process Shift Supervisor in safely meeting targets, assisting with crew leadership and providing hands on support in day to day plant operations.
What you will be doing:
Support and provide coverage for the Shift Supervisor when required.
Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and living our Vital Behaviours.
Operate and monitor plant equipment across all processing areas.
Coordinate daily work activities, including unplanned tasks, reports and checklists.
Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance teams to optimise performance and resolve issues.
Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting.
Identify improvement opportunities to improve team efficiency and capability.

About you:
Senior Process Technician with significant processing experience, ideally with gold processing knowledge.
Able to demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to safety.
Proven leader who proactively approaches coaching and mentoring others.
Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate would be advantageous.
Well developed troubleshooting and problem solving skills in operations and leadership.
Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases.
Valid C Class Driver’s Licence as a minimum.
