Position Title: Venue Supervisor

Tathra Beach Bowling Club is seeking an expirienced Duty Manager or Supervisor to assist in the Day to Day operations of the club, ensuring a safe, welcoming and high-quality experience for members, guests and staff.
The role provides hands-on leadership across front-of-house operations, food and beverage service, gaming operations where applicable, events and functions, customer service, staff supervision and compliance with liquor & gaming, WHS and club regulations.
The successful candidate will lead by example, maintain high service standards and ensure the venue operates efficiently and professionally at all times.
the role includes a variety of shifts from mornings to nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of the club during allocated shifts.
- Monitor service standards and respond promptly to operational issues.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures as required including Trade Reconciliation.
- Coordinate staff across different areas of the venue to maintain smooth operations.
- Assist with functions, promotions, entertainment and special events.
- Assist with staff training during shifts
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol practices are consistently followed.
- Ensure gaming areas operate in accordance with club procedures and applicable NSW legislation.
- Support responsible gambling practices and required customer interactions.
- Monitor the gaming floor and escalate suspicious, unsafe or non-compliant activity.
- Identify and report hazards, incidents and maintenance issues.
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG)
- Advanced Responsible conduct of Gambling (ARCG) (Must be willing to obtain)
- 1 year in a similar role
